T-Mobile Will No Longer Allow Third Parties to Bill Customers for Premium SMS Services

Charitable Text-to-Give Campaigns and Political Donations Not Affected

At T-Mobile, our customers come first and we believe they should be treated fairly and not charged for unwanted services. Despite protections and processes put in place by T-Mobile and the industry, not all premium SMS vendors have acted responsibly. After evaluation of the program, T-Mobile will terminate all billing for Premium SMS, except for charitable and political giving, as soon as possible with as minimal an impact on our customers as possible. We have already stopped business with one of the largest enablers of premium SMS services.
