Donations Raised Through Accessory Sales to Help Fund Cutting-Edge Research and Prevention Outreach to Those Most at Risk
BELLEVUE, Wash. - Feb. 10, 2013 - This year, Valentine's season brings more than chocolate calories and the fleeting hope of a romance sparked or rekindled. February 2014 also marks the 50th anniversary of American Heart Month and a three-peat partnership between T-Mobile (NYSE: TMUS) and The Hope Heart Institute to raise funds and build awareness to fight heart disease, America's No. 1 health risk to both men and women.
Through this partnership, throughout the month of February, when customers purchase select red or heart-healthy fitness accessories, T-Mobile will donate $1 to The Hope Heart Institute, up to $50,000. Donations will help fund the institute's ongoing research and education programs, cutting-edge science, as well as prevention outreach to those who need it most.
