Save Hundreds on the Hottest Smartphones during the Un-carrier’s Half-Off Smartphone Event
Media Alert: Save Hundreds on the Hottest Smartphones during the Un-carrier’s Half-Off Smartphone Event

What: Starting today, January 27, families with T-Mobile can now upgrade everyone by saving hundreds of dollars at T-Mobile’s Half-Off Smartphone Event. New and existing T-Mobile Simple Choice customers can get half off all the Un-carrier’s bestselling smartphones from Samsung, LG and others when they buy another device from the same manufacturer of equal or greater value. They can choose from the hottest smartphones including Samsung’s Galaxy S6, S6 edge, S6 edge+ and Note5; LG’s G4 and V10; and others.

During T-Mobile’s Half-Off Smartphone Event, customers could pay just $12.08 per month for a second Samsung Galaxy S6 32GB (a savings of nearly $290 over 24 months for qualified customers) or just $12.50 per month for a second LG V10 (a savings of $300 over 24 months for qualified customers) excluding taxes and fees, when they buy another. There’s no trade-in required, and as part of this event, families and businesses can get up to six smartphones at half price.

Why: According to a new survey released today, a full 70% of families won’t upgrade everyone’s phones at the same time due to costs and upgrade restrictions. So, someone in the family gets stuck with the old hand-me-down phone. According to the survey by Civic Science, nearly three-quarters of the time, this means the kids get shafted with the second-hand phone – a troubling trend for socially sensitive teens and tweens!

When: This limited time promotion is available in participating T-Mobile stores nationwide and at 1-800-TMOBILE (866-2453).  For more information and a full list of eligible smartphones, visit www.t-mobile.com/bogo.

There’s never been a better time to switch to T-Mobile. The Un-carrier’s LTE coverage more than doubled in the last year! In 2015 alone, T-Mobile added nearly one million square miles of new LTE coverage – that’s a third of the entire continental US added in one year!  And, the Un-carrier now covers 304 million people, nearly every single American. As always, T-Mobile will pay the carriers’ early termination fees and cover the balance of your old phone up to $650 or more when you switch to T-Mobile Simple Choice with trade-in.
